"We want to do our best, be in our best level and make it to the final" says Peru's Malaga

Juncos, Puerto Rico, September 15, 2015 – Peru easily won over Bulgaria today with a strong service and block. The Peruvian Head Coach assures there is still more to do to maintain the undefeated state of her team in the tournament.

Angela Leyva, Peru Captain: “I’m very happy about our teamwork and because we keep going ahead. Tomorrow we want to reach the same level in our game or even better. We have to keep working hard. Today we made a strong damage with our service and our blocking.”

Natalia Málaga, Peru Head Coach: “I feel happy, but we have to keep working to keep improving. We maintain our objective of making it into the finals. I’m focused on the evolution of the team, for them to keep improving; we know there are strong teams in the other pool. We want to do our best, be in our best level and make it to the final. My surprise is that the team has kept an equilibrium from the beginning of the tournament, that’s good - yet I’m not at ease, as the rivals ahead of us are strong and we have to work more.”
