Full roster in action - The main prize for Italy against Egypt

 

Caguas, Puerto Rico, September 12, 2015 - Thinking on the long run, Italy seized the match against Egypt to develop the entire team, as the next phase begin to approach in Puerto Rico. Coach Cristofani was also pleased about the almost confirmed second round ticket.

Sofia D’Odorico, Italy captain: “It was a good thing to give the opportunity to all of our players to be in action. We are happy for this win, but already thinking on what is coming now - to face Japan tomorrow.”

Luca Cristofani, Italy coach: “The team played an intelligent match and controlled the game on all departments. That created an opportunity to use all of our players and we used it. I’m happy as we completed our first goal of advancing to the top eight teams of the competition and now we will continue developing our game plan.”

Ahmed Fathi, Egypt coach: “I’m pleased with some moments of the match, but I know our team needs to play at this level with more consistency. It’s something we learnt for the future.”
