Control and focus empowered Serbia over Mexico

Juncos, Puerto Rico, September 12, 2015 - Taking advantage of their opponents lost of focus and regaining their confidence after losing to China yesterday, Serbia took total control over the Mexican team today in Juncos. Both coaches said there is much to improve to face their next opponents.

Sara Vucicevic, Serbian top scorer in today's match: "I'm very happy we won today. It's our first win and it's good for us to gain confidence. We did better today but we can do much better than this. I hope we can do better tomorrow against China."

Marijana Boricic, Head Coach of Serbia: "I think we are fine today because after the match yesterday it's good to comeback in a good way and try to play a good game tomorrow. I hope that we have a chance to go to the quarterfinals."

Luis León López, Mexico's Head Coach: "In today's game we didn't do what we planned, we didn't apply our strategy. The girls were very nervous and that was stronger than the objective we had which was reachable - to win the game over Serbia. We had a very bad day and we couldn't control the nerves."
