In 1997 in Gdansk, Poland, the 'Plavi' (playing under the flag of the former Yugoslavia) came ninth, and they repeated that result in 1999 in Saskatoon, Canada. But the side surpassed themselves in 2005 in Ankara, Turkey, where they clinched silver. In 2011 in Lima, Peru, the junior women of Serbia recorded a slight setback finishing 13th overall. In 2013, our girls were 7th.
