Chinese Taipei conquer Mexico at Pool G first stop

 

Maunabo, Puerto Rico, September 15, 2015 - Chinese Taipei overpowered Mexico 3-0 (25-13, 25-20, 25-16) at their fourth game at FIVB Women’s U20 World Championship, opening Pool G in Maunabo. The Chinese Taipei’s team preparation traced a route for a smooth triumph over Mexico.

Chinese Taipei came confident with striking services and firm receptions to conquer the first set in a convincing fashion. Although Mexico struggled led by captain Fernanda Banuelos, they gradually lost concentration giving Chinese Taipei the opportunity to step ahead in every set. Only the second one was closer, but the Asian play prevailed once more.

The most achieving players of the match were Ya Tzu Chen from Chinese Taipei, who nailed 15 points, and teammate Ching-Yi Kuo who followed her two points behind. For Mexico, Kathya Garcia made 9 points, being 6 attacks, 2 block and 1 service, as the leading scorer on her side.
