China acquire ninth position against a resilient Turkey

 

Maunabo, Puerto Rico, September 19, 2015 – At their final game of the competition, China took over Turkey 3-1 (25-20, 17-25, 25-19, 26-24) to finish ninth at FIVB Women’s U20 World Championship in Puerto Rico. Chinese determination prevailed over a less consistent side of Turkey.

China performed an attacking first period filled with strong services, while Turkey failed receiving almost all of them. After gaining the first period, China crashed against Turkey's recovery. The Turkish side kept divergent between services and receptions, even though they showed more strength in the second and third sets.  

The most prolific players of the match were Jin Ye from China who made 20 points, being 18 attacks, 2 block and 1 service while Turkish Humay Topaloglu earned 15 points becoming the top scorer of her team.
